Underdrive pulley question to owners

Has any body with a underdrive crank pulley experience any problems in steering when the car is cold, morning start? I have a 2011 DCG and if i try to turn the car when it is cold, the steering is really tight and feels like the belt is skipping. I know the belt is not skipping. When i raise the RPM's the tighntness goes away and i can turn with no problem. An example would be backing out of a driveway when cold. When the car is fully warmed up there is no issue. This only started to happen as it got cold here in NY. I have had the pulley on since August with no other issues. Any thoughts or comments......
