Downshift Exhaust/ Engine Pop

The other day i drove 100 miles to Sb

As i was getting off the freeway and as i was breaking moderatly i downshifted to third gear and i heard this very loud Pop from the Engine and the Exhaust.

Has anyone expierienced this

Should i take the car in and get it checked?

DCT ? or MT?

I wouldn't worry either way, its just back pressure. My car does it sometimes..
do you have aftermarket exhaust?

back pressure. happens all the time when you downshift.

I get it all the time when i downshift getting off the highway. I really like the sound of it.

Absolutely it does! The exhaust pop is a feature I would have paid extra for.

+1... Its even crazier when you have Headers, Non-Res Sections 1 & 2 with a Ti Exhaust then you down shift! Love the Back fire pop sound from my car!
