PacNW Trackday Roll Call and Coordination Thread..

Turned out to be a good day at the BMWCCA event yesterday at pacific raceways. It threatened to rain in the morning but never did and soon the skies cleared up and it turned into a nice, warm sunny day.

Here's a video of me chasing Nicolas - couldn't quite catch him though..

thanks dude.. wish we had more sessions though.. only got four. I think if I had one more session, I would have hit 1:38 or 1:37.. I felt I had more in me..

Do you have a BBK? If so keep it pinned through corner 1. In addition brake for 5a by try to maintain throttle through 5b......roll on through 6. I can't remember but think you can go through 5b without a brush. Basically try to find the highest speed you can maintain through 5a, 5b and 6. You probably already know but watch out for the curbs on the right as they can roll the car.

thanks - good tips! I am trying to keep my top speeds limited until I can get a roll cage... I feel I can keep it pinned but am trying to drive at 70% of my limit as I don't want to crash my car.

I here ya.......that's why I built the E46 M3. Safety and not to beat up or crash a really nice street car.

Nicolas texted me a few times during the day, said you guys were having a blast, and I just couldn't break away from meetings until 3pm (in Bellevue). Would've loved to swing by.

Who's going to ORP in a couple weeks with Turn2? We need more people.

Yesterday was a great day at Pacific Raceways. I enjoyed myself.

It was nice hanging out with you w00tw00t. Nice work on the track. The microphone placement for the video works wonders. Really cool.

I have a nice video that I need to edit and upload.

I'm getting excited to get out to the Ridge this saturday. It will be my first day out there with proper camber and better rubber. It's going to be a crowded day, but the weather should be unbeatable. Who else is officially on the list?

im in saturday and sunday. all i could get was C for saturday but i will be breaking in the new car so thats okay.

So we've got 5 of us at least (including Santo) and we should definitely pit together. I don't have a preference where, but consider the east end for more space. I'll probably roll in a little after 7:30.
