COngratulations sir!

You have worked hard, and are going to drive on of the best all-rounded driving cars on the road today!

Enjoy her in good health!

Just the checklist every1 mentioned should suffice at this point!

However, make sure they gave everything to you that they promised.

Eg: Mats, keys, key chains, 3M stone guard etc etc.

If you find anything wrong with it, I would Lemon it right away. I would check the entire underside for dirt as well. Just enjoy the day and don't worry about it man.

Picked up my AW e92 DCT M3 today. WHAT A CAR! Obviously I'm still in break in and I can't wait to fully unleash it after my 1500 service. I'm already about 300 miles in too! I'll post pictures tomorrow when my friend sends me them. I came from a B5 S4 which is no slouch but did NOT get attention like this car does. Already have had a few stare downs haha. I'm gonna go put more miles on it now even though the phillies are playing :P Thanks to everyone who helped on this forum to help me achieve my goal of owning this magnificent machine!

What do you get with this tire/wheel warranty? In the two years I had my 335, I ended up replacing three tires and one wheel. The roads can be crappy in some locations where I live, and I don't want to go through that BS when I get my M and those more expensive 19s.

I swore off of run flats, but my CA said if the impacts were that bad, then it would have happened with regular tires as well...

My dealer listed their tire warranty at $1100 and would only discount it to $900. My friend who works as a Sales Manager at the dealership, as an aside shook his head and recommended not to get it saying it wasn't worth it and recommended taking the car by Discount Tire. I did this and cost me $30 a tire to warranty them. I see Hawaii doesn't have a Discount Tire location, but maybe there is a similar type company?

I'm picking up my M3 from a dealer today as well. Can you explain how it works with the Discount Tire?
Do I just show up and ask them to warranty the tires that are on the car? I thought you had to buy tires from them in order to get the warranty?

Dealer offered tire/wheel warranty for $900, but I rejected. He said to sleep on it anyway. I'm considering it, but not sure it's worth it

Thats the amazing thing, you don't have to buy the tires from them. You just drive up and ask them for their best price to warranty the tire. They just measure the tread. As part of it they put lifetime balance as part of it.

My car has (unfortunately contis) They mentioned if I wanted to change to Michelins in the case of having to use the warranty, I could just pay any difference between them and PS2s.

Wow thanks for the tip firewired! I'll look into this because $30 a tire is much easier on the wallet for mods! Haha! Luckly I got PS2's

I paid $600 for the five year warranty from the dealer. I am not sure if the dealer charged me the price for a regular three series. It covers damage to tires and wheels from any sort of road hazard or curbs. Most of the tire store warranty only cover the tire and it is always prorated. The dealer just gave me a new PS2 rear tire no questions asked. I probably would not have purchased it at $900.

YMMV

That is super rad! Thanks for the advice!
Just picked up the car from a dealer, tires are Michelin PS2, practically brand new so should be no problem to get warranty. Heading out to Discount Tire tomorrow!
