The thread title makes me laugh after all of this.

I am going to buy it, and since I haven't been insanely anticipating this like all the other GT5 fans, I really only feel like I just now have to start waiting. It'll be a quick two months lol.

yep the best thing to do to kill the time for waiting is keep yourself occupied with other things like new games that are coming out etc. lol at least thats whay im doing

I went passed my local gamestore today (I didn't stop in), and it still had Gran Turismo 5 １１月３日 posted　as the release date. I didn't have time to stop in though. Well, it's only 8 days away. I'll drop by that day and see if it's available. It is however, a national holiday...so maybe I'm busy then?

Its a placeholder date, not confirmed. All websites are doing that.

One thing is for certain, when the delay was announced, better believe bottles were poppin at EA being that Hot Pursuit would get the jump on GT5 for a little while. Even though they are 2 different kinds of racing games, they are still racing games, and are in the same market. People are going to slide over to HP while still waiting for GT5 to release.
