Ok so I was searching around on the old introweb and came across the standard wheels (18's) for the M3 and printed on the back it said BBS. I thought I heard about this before but didn't remember or believe. So is this real? And are the comp package wheels made by BBS?

Yes and Yes. The 219M and 359M are both BBS wheels.
