I am (maybe WAS at this point) more than willing to throw him some $ for the oil received. You're missing the point. An item was advertised that apparently never existed as I should've been told the following day after paying, not a week or so later. It means there was no effort on the seller's part to deliver goods in a timely matter as promised. The right thing to do would be to message me and tell me, "Hey I don't have everything and I know it's XXX days later, but I can either refund you some $$$ or give you a full refund. Not just send something (which is now super late) and issue a partial refund w/ a message.

We are mostly buying from strangers here, we expect higher practices as being a seller/buyer in a transaction whether it's $ 5 or $ 500.

He can message me if he wants, but don't try and call me out in a forum for "whining" . I'm just trying to enlighten others. Again, there's a reason this post was created and is now 2 pages long.

I didn't say you were whining, he said I was. I just responded to a thread that I thought was interesting to enlighten others. You must not work in business.
