How do I remove the iPhone Dock?

Anyone know of a thread with pics or instructions? I want more storage space in the console and the iPhone dock takes up most of the space. I searched around, but came up empty. Any help would be appreciated.

Is there some type of replacement part for more storage in there?

Thanks

HAHA. I don't think you'll gain much room since even if you remove the dock itself, there will still be the raised area where it sat.

True that, but at least I'll get that stupid phone dock thingy I never use out of the way. Oh well.

I would love to know the same thing. That damn dock is in the way. With a new iPhone every year and the docks costing hundreds of dollars what's the point ?

With the enthusiasts being more likely to change their phones more often one could consider your point but in reality the enthusiasts are only a tiny percentage of BMW total sales. Many people don't necessarily jump to the newest thing everytime it comes out.
