Yeah I was a little taken aback by how shitty my car was after my latest service visit. I have a loaded '08 335i and it felt like a complete shitbox after I got done with the F10 535i loaner.

Your car is actually the titanium color (only offered in 2009). It's very rare and unique.

As of now, it is my DD. Not sure what I'll do though. My wife has a Lexus GX470, so if conditions gat bad, I have another option. The ride isn't too bad, but it IS a supercar not a Lexus. It's still on runflats and I'd compare it to my dropped bimmer on rflts when it's in comfort mode.

Since when is the GT-R considered a supercar?

GTR has always been referred to as a supercar. Supercar looks, performance, focus, and notoriety.

Addressing the M3 as a supercar might be a bit much but the R8 and 911 Turbo are probably ok.

Great looking GTR there, OP. I like how you mentioned it makes you feel like you've got nothing to prove. This car is not a stepping stone, you're finally there. Now you can just sit back and enjoy it. When you're happy with your own ride like that, it doesn't matter what anyone says.

Drive safe.

I stand corrected.

I found new 10' models from 5K to 12K off. I don't know true cost but this one should be below invoice. ???

Yeah it definitely does deliver supercar performance. There's really no arguing that. However, I'm surprised at how many I see. It's incredible how they have priced such a ballsy car so aggressively. I don't mean that in a negative way at all, and I'm not trying to spoil OP's incredible purchase.... BTW, that is really an awesome color.

The GT-R is considered the Porsche turbo (997.1 turbo) 'killer' Stock vs stock.

It is a supercar. Just like the NSX was just like a corvette, viper can be considered supercars.

Drive one for ten minutes and come back and tell me it isn't. Don't even drive it hard. The look on people's faces can be your judge.

Thanks to everyone for all the congrats and the one poster hit the nail on the head. It really is the pinnacle for me. Sure I could go buy something that costs more, but the performance is basically on par with any other manufactured car...regardless of price.

I am indeed fullfilling a dream. I know it's relative.

Owned an M3 and while it is no doubt a truly amazing piece of kit it still is but a 3 series that has been tweaked, amazing but by no means exceptional. On the other hand the GTR is something completely different, the sheer grip, composure, get up and go, it's mechanical noise and it's relenting drive to the horizon distances it from cars like the M3 and lifts it to a level reserved for nothing but supercars.

In other words it's among the cream of the crop.

That's because it isn't, unlike the GTR.
