awesome...and i completely agree with you about the Dragon. too bad you weren't able to really push it. it was pretty clear when i went up earlier this year and i was really able to push it. the M3 is a marvel and even with seriously late braking continued to inspire confidence through all 318 or so turns.
of course then two sport bikers came flying up behind me and made me pull to the side to let them pass here's a pic from one of my runs - |

Check the southeast section of this forum....we usually post track events in there.

Fantastic pictures and videos! Looks like a really fun trip. I'd love to get back down to Miami.
Something tells me the MORR team and I will be having a few drinks when we do! |

As I attempted to indicate in my original post, there was no crossing of the center line where there was not absolute and clear forward visibility. Around any and all blind corners, strict lane discipline was followed. Your example of the sightseeing family in the suv randomly crossing the center line is not exactly analogous. Obviously, I don't share your opinion that I was doing anything approaching "insane". Compared to many who drive or ride on that road, I'm quite certain that I was positively pussyfooting. All of that said, advice noted, and original post altered. The goal with my post/journal was to share my very positive experiences with the community, not draw the ire of Low J. and crew. So this can be accomplished without my oh so cra-azy Dragon driving video I suppose. Thank you. Last edited by FormulaMMM; 04-10-2012 at 02:49 PM.. |
