Anyone pay a local dealer for 240E?

I understand that there is a local guy (MoCo) that can flash 240E and many other things but I'm curious if anyone has just gone to their local dealer and paid for software updates and if so about how much was the price?

I don't recall what the quote was, but I have called two local dealers for a quote. They quoted me a 1 hour labor rate. It's a no brainer to use this secret, unsaid MoCo guy,

he's great, if we're talking about the same guy.

plus, the dealer won't do feature coding either.

If I were you, I would just buy a tune since most tuners include the newest software with their tunes. No need to pay just to upgrade your stock software IMO.

I plan to keep my car very stock. I've been down the modded road in the past.
