I was just curious cause I over heard a convo today while picking up building permits for a job at the township, and one of the inspectors was talking to another guy about paying 100 bucks an hour for following and taking pictures of his wife.

My friends dad did hire a PI. I don't know the costs.

Even though he had picture proof, and proof of her forging his signature to transfer money into her own account, he still got the shaft.

My friend still doesn't believe his mom did it. Even though his sister had her own proof and another friend of ours just happen to over hear a conversation at the gym with the guy she was cheating with. Caught in the act like a mofo.

PI's should not make $100 an hour cuz their services don't merit that amount of money. They sit and follow and take pics. Nothing special. Anyone can do that on their own.

So if you don't make more per hour than a dentist you should try to learn how to drill you own teeth?

To the OP, yes. Divorce is expensive, and pictures of a cheating spouse would be good ammo.

Analogy's don't always work.

When all you are doing is following someone and taking pictures, you might as well take a day off from work and do it yourself. If you don't have time, then pay someone else to do it.

But then again, you are also paying for his anonymity.

100/hr is pretty heavy.. I'd probably do the "stalking" myself. Or find a unemployed friend/family member and make them follow her around.
