How much for 08 E92 6MT w/ 18k miles?

Hey guys, as the title says, how much should i offer for that car? It is black, has 18 inch wheels, nav package and CF roof. The dealer is asking 54k. Is that realistic or too high?
By the way, the car is CPO.
Thanks.

That seems a bit high. Very recently, I saw a CPO similarly equipped (but with 1000 or so more miles) and the asking price was $49,995. Today or tomorrow, that model year will be 3 years old--you can do better.

I think that's REALLY high. I got my 08 (granted, a sedan) a April last year with 2,800 miles on it. Tech pacakage, Premium Sound, 19's, sunroof, heated seats for $48.5K

Were your cars CPO? Also, I noticed a couple scratches on the bumper, which bother the hell out of me. They brought the price to 53k but wouldn't budge from there. Advice?

Let somebody else buy it then. Too high--even for CPO. Keep looking. Plus, you already do not like the scratchy bumper. Just let it go.

Thanks for the advice. The reason it's a bit hard to et it go is it had the exact options i wanted and color but you guys are right, it's not priced right so I'll just move on for now.

Well, since you put it that way, you have a choice to make. You can pay more than what we on this thread think the car is worth, but get a car exactly optioned as you like (now--as this glorious weather is descending upon us out east!). Or, you can wait and hope that the exact car comes along again. You may luck out, again. But, it could be next month or in November. To paraphrase some sage advice on this board: if somebody else buys it tomorrow, are you going to be kicking yourself in the ass with regret? If yes, pay $53K and start to enjoy your car. If not, move on and wait. GL!

Glad I waited an extra day. Found another one (not CPO as the other one unfortunately). I'm going to trade my 08 z06 for it and save some cash for mods if the deal works out!

Buddy just bought a very similar package '08 coupe 9k 6mt with ipod/nav/enhanced stereo for 42.5k. Let's face it, the M3 resale value is a free-fall. I bet you see '08 M3 in the high $30ks in 3-6 months.

Ok I need advice then because what looked like a good deal may not be. I would trade my 08 Z06 corvette (dealers have said trade in is 49k) straight up for this 6MT, CF, Electronic package 18 inch wheel 22k miles m3.
Would you guys do this? Thanks a lot, you guys are very helpful with this thought process!

You are buying retail and selling wholesale, so that is never a good deal.

So to answer your question- no.
