Gintani Race.. xpipe opinions?

I have the Gintani Race version on my E90 sedan and love the sound of it. Compliments every time I drive the car. I was curious what I should expect by adding an xpipe? I prefer to avoid CELs so no HFC's.

My fear was it being even louder.. because right now the sound is perfect to me. But from a HP standpoint.. is there an x-pipe out there that you guys would recommend for increased performance with only minimal changes to the exhaust note/volume..etc.

I didn't find anything in my search attempts. Videos would be cool.

Fabspeed? Encore?

Thanks!

I would say go with the Gintani X Pipe with HFC and resonators. The resonators should keep the sound down, also to avoid the CEL, get an O2 Simulator, I'm sure they have it for the M3, but I do not know who has it, maybe **********s?

I have seen the Gintani X Pipes add a good chunk of power time and time again...

One of the most popular X-Pipe setups is the Fabspeed X-pipe with resonators.

Let me know if you have any questions!

Just go with Gintani Xpipe + HFC. Their resonators are like duel 16 or 18" so they are pretty beefy.

Think twice before adding an x-pipe with that Gintani Race, even if it has hfc's.

I have a feeling it's gonna make it too loud for you, especially since you feel that the loudness of your exhaust note is already perfect.

I have to mention though, I have no experience with hfc's on my M3, so I don't wanna mislead you.

Come down to Westchester...

If you want to hear the sound of a full Fabspeed Exhaust (200CEL HFC & X-Pipe resonator delete, BMC Drop in filters) into the Gintani exhaust let me know....come spring you can come buy for a 1st hand listen.

Adding an xpipe to a race muffler regardless of HFCs will make it noticeably louder.
