Mixing and matching exhaust parts
I'm sure most of you have seen the RPI exhaust now. Looks great, awesome gains, and priced extremely competitively.
I planned to pair this front section with a titanium rear for maximum weight savings. I'm wondering if is a mistake not getting the whole RPI system, complete, as it was designed together. Thoughts? |

I know we don't agree on much when it comes to modding.....
But in my opinion if it makes a difference it's going to be very minimal at best. Of course the best solution is a fully designed system from one end to the other. But on a daily driving car such as this that is naturally aspirated I would suggest just buying the exhaust products you like best. Most should produce similar results, with the biggest difference just in sound.

I think the theoretical power difference will be minimal, but I'm also concerned with parts not matching up perfectly. |

If any issue, this will be the biggest one, but if all are supposed to bolt up to OEM system in theory they should bolt up to each other as well.

im wondering the same thing. i think the whole rpi system might be a bit loud for me. i was really leaning to mating the rpi front cat delete and xpipe to a remus sport to help quiet it down.

I would get the RPi system as a whole.

The hardest part about designing the system was to get something that sounded good/loud but no drone. Cruising on the freeway, the full race system does not drone (to me and others) and is much quieter than our M5 GT Race exhaust. I guess the biggest difference if that we design EVERYTHING in house and everything is made here or locally so if anyone has questions or issues, everything is delt with immediately.
