Not at all. Technic has a harness specifically made so you can add a trunk sub or upgrade the underseat subs without cutting anything.

I have seen it done here before... im not quite sure how extensive the work is. i know for the 8" its really simple. And there are existing cut outs for the trunk that fits 8" for sale here that are perfect. im considering getting one because it looks quite nice. they even sell them with the speaker and all the equipment. theres a choice of 3 speakers out i believe.

I have no idea what you are trying to say but the only 8" location I know if in the car is under the front seats.

I think he might be talking about VPs sub enclosure which is actually a 10". No drilling or cutting. Technic is running it.

premium sound

Worth every penny. It's loud, crisp and very clear. I've had my new e92 for a week only and I have yet to crank it up half way. No mod needed for premium sound system.

hmm I'm sorry "outie", but when I'm spending 76k on a car and still have time to back out if I need to (car is on order), I want to make sure that everything about this car is perfect, and getting internet opinions is fine with me instead of hassling the hell out of my sales associate to pull 2 cars up next to each other and play a series of songs to compare. Sorry to make you go out of your way to give your worthless opinion on my post.

No such thing as a perfect factory audio system in any car. No reason not to hassle the sales associate - their opinion on audio systems iis proven to be worthless...
