"Low cost entry supercharger" probably means absence of air/water cooling in a forced induction system.

Sounds like a bad idea ...

Is it going to make more power than using all the simple bolts ons that are currently available?

Why a bad idea ? We have several low boost supercharger kits that do not require cooling. We have used these types of kits for many years on several different BMW models. If you do some research you will see that other BMW and non BMW FI vendors do also. For customers who want a low cost, simple to install system that makes good power they work great when they have proper design and tuning.

Even if our stage 1 kit only made 120 whp and 80 ft/lb tq over stock it would be better than any simple bolt on combination available for this car.

This is a dyno of our entry level R&D stage 1 kit. This test kit has has no cooling. It was run on 91 octane in 80 deg weather four times back to back. The difference in power between each run was plus/minus 3 whp. We also removed our CAI from the kit and pulled warm air in from the engine bay with a simple filter attached to the blower to try and create a worst case scenario.

I doubt if the tables turned and it was your car being down right now, I'm almost positive you wouldn't want stupid little remarks like that.

It's people like you who make me want to sell my m3.
My heart goes out to you bro. i would hate for something like that happen.

Roman,

I know you are getting 100x of the same questions, but when is the ETA of this stage 1 kit? If it is priced under 7k, I guarantee you this will sell like the next generation i-phone on their release date. Most people are probably looking for a significant increase in power that won't require head/block work, axle-shafts, aftermarket clutch, loss of mileage, ect. This kit would be perfect! Would it have an option to add a inter/aftercooler later on or is it set as is?

Im sorry I can't answer all of your questions at this time. What I can tell you is that a stage 1 kit would not be designed to be simply upgraded but by changing a few core components it could. If a customer was considering higher HP or a kit they could upgrade with simple changes they should consider purchasing our 600 or 650 HP stage 2 kits. I can also tell you that all of the parts in even a stage 1 kit are very high quality and are the same parts used in our high performance stage 2 kits. Our goal in producing a stage 1 product would not be to cut corners and bring a low quality low cost product to the market. Our goal would be to bring an option to the market for customers who feel that another 100-130 HP would make their car perform at a level they would be completely happy with.

If you want to discuss any of our kits in detail feel free to email me

very well said.
don't mind higher prices at all as long as they are high quality products

I think easy of installment and simple design is key.

e.g., In many developing countries like China, there are lots of luxuary car owners, but the country is lacking skilled mechanics to do the more complex mods.

Roman,

Do you have any pictures of this stage 1 kit as opposed to your stage 2?
