I think ride a bike or walk. That's 'bout it. Transportation in any way consumes energy that is dirty. In greenpeaces eyes all energy is dirty.

Nuke, coal, nat gas, hydro.

Maybe the only true clean fuels are wind and geothermal, maybe wave or tidal but anything else has its downsides. We cannot make enough power.

The future, plasma based power generation by controlled fusion.

i think the OP completely mis-interpreted the pics?

it appears that they are with bmw, vw, and mb.... hence, driving climate change. they probably meant it like they are working at the problem too.

i really dont think they are bitching... and if they are, who gives a fuck? lol

I have a ~50 mile round trip commute every day, wonder what the Greenpeace solution for that is.

Trust me, they're bitching. That's all Greenpeace knows how to do.

The article talked about Greenpeace making allegations against the German auto industry and their "highly contaminant vehicles" that's why I said that they should read more, because as most of us know,... BMW's, MB's and VW's are either ULEV or SULEV vehicles.
My point to this subject is that even though Greenpeace idea of a healthier and sustainable planet is on my total agreement, I think there are better ways to do it,.... like some of you said, if the context of the "protest" was to support the auto industry because of their efforts to reduce emissions and create environmental friendly vehicles, then my whole statement would be in favor of Greenpeace.
