Info: M-DCT official presentation, Sunday, January 20th

I hope this is correct. I just spoke to 2 dealers where i have got orders. One said not on SA3 as yet and have no idea when it will, the other said no evidence on the system and will not (according to the sales peoples morning meeting) be available until the end of 2008. When i told them about the original UK release stating March 2008 they said it just will not happen. What is going on?

You are talking to the wrong people. I still believe in option 2MK for March 08.

In all fairness the dealers know next to nothing and talk sales rubbish most of the time.

with 20 mins to talk, I can't see BMW using that time to discuss an option on vehicles, but more of vehicle releases.

don't worry, i'll be at the industry preview the 16th to take lots of pictures of the vehicles and options

Even if it will be available, I don't think that being one of the first to have the DCT would be a good idea.

Update from yesterday. Main UK dealer was trying / pretending to give me some confidential info by saying (really quietly) that the sales manager has let them know that dct will be produced from September. I think they have no idea and are just guessing.

One good bit of news though, i booked my test drive!
