O wait i forgot, seems like you are on the payroll not me ! No doubt my car is slower than yours but at the end of the day it wont last 1/4 the life time,go figure 3 built motors and stop denying it ! your motor isn't a bullet proof so stop acting like it is plz cause i yet to see an NA that went FI route and pushing these numbers without being stripped down to the crank and built every 10K. your HP and TQ looks great for a standalone ECU ,lets see if you can replicate that with a stock ECU no you want and i know it and you know it very well so stop playin games plz. ONCE AGAIN ,GO GET AN E9X M3 AND COME BACK AND POST SOMETHING USEFUL!!! Im sure you are a cool guy and hope we will meet someday so you can realize that life is more than cars and HP ! Have a wonderful day !!! |

thanks Roman for you response but how do you explain all these bolt on M's with different transmissions putting up similar times or even the same? Does a sc change things that much that dct gains 5-10 mph in trap speed.

so your saying that just because this forum has a list of some the guys that have these kit that by pure numbers the kit is better.( Opinion not fact.)A fact would be that they have more kits that AA on this Forum. Their are so many people that own both kits that aren't on the forums did you account for that? So if both company had a certain amount of kit out just for example Aa had 100 kits and Ess had 95 you would say Active is better because their 5 more people with the kit right?

With all due respect Akash, why bother trying to compare apples to oranges? It's a discussion of Supercharged M3's...

Do you have a vaste clue what it takes to gain 5mph ?? Or even 10mph in 1/4 ??? 100 whp = 10 mph give or take a few ponnies , do the math on stock cars and do the math on full bolt on's and SC'd E9x M3's and tell me what you come up with ...

With all due respect Chris, If a Dct and 6-mt trap similar time with similar bolt ons and tune how does it affect the car that much with a sc?

And again...you're discussing cars with 100's of HP over stock...I would imagine all sorts of things can change at that point. I guess I just don't get where it's even remotely relevant to the discussion. Anyways, carry on...

so you saying that drew numbers are shitty because he only got 130. So a Dct with Drew's setup should be making 135 compared to my numbers here at atco. I would love to see that.

Ess is know to be better because not only do they have more kits sold all over the globe but there reliable, not one ess kit has caused a motor to blow, not saying that Aa has but the proven method used by ess on these cars works, it's cheaper, and reliable, m33 has over 40k on his kit alone, and I have 10k 4 of which were used to travel cross country in 95 degree weather, remember this is a non intercooler kit and.my car remained cooler then it did when it was stock, so for the amount of kits sold and time they've been out and reliability they've proven, that is why we can all gladly say it is the best kit for the money and reliability, I'm not saying Aa isn't a good, i' saying ess has proven time and time again with the e9x that' it's flawless, the facts are out there, this kit is amazing and it's also used on many track cars without any cooling issues

i know their alot of "group thinkers" here i am just asking question i never knocked on either kit. If you look back to my post before today i have only said good things about both even thought i own a AA kit. I respect all you guys that have Ess kit or gonna get them but why is their so much hate? I met M33 and Img this weekend am i a dick in person? Have i been a dick today( probably) but i am just asking questions and trying to learn and find out why you guys have such high hp and such low traps except drew and Mike. Why does a 6mt and dct with bolt on put down similar times but when you add sc why it isn't the same?

M33 and I never ran on a strip and as i mentioned before, most likely i wont just knowing the negative effects on the car.but i did run a 60-130 which is a great way to measure performance without beating on your 1st and 2nd gear. I dont know where did you see a bolt on dct traping the same as a SC'd DCT M3 on the strip, also adding more power, you get a great deal of wheel spin,M33 spins the tires in 4th gear with 295s in the back .so we should see what happens and how our toys compare up top !! |
