Innotech Exhaust on E90 in bay area (video)

Holy Moly! I just installed the complete system (with the help of John from Rimier), and when the valve opens, it's FREAKEN LOUD! Push a button... shut the valve and it's quiet. A little noiser than stock, but no bassy drone. Amazing. No CEL yet.... Stinky though..... If anyone wants to hear it, feel free to ping me. This is a good exhaust. Video will come when it's not raining..

Thanks John!

It's ridiculously loud open! A little too raspy for me, but since mine with the secondaries still in isn't nearly this loud or raspy I think we can fix it. But, it's really quiet with the valve closed, definitely quieter than my Akrapovic Evolution was!

With the valve closed, it is louder than stock. I'd put it at comparable with the M performance exhaust. It's not obnoxious, and it has no bassy drone... it's amazing.

This fever is getting worse!

I bet the cutback would sound pretty damn good all by itself. Quiet for the neighbors and loud when I want.

The more I hear in person the worse it gets (sounding like Captain Obvious here).

I don't see myself ever going catless so I would not expect it to be too raspy. Pretty expensive, yes, but all reason was gone when I bought this car.

The catback is not that loud and not raspy at all, really. Open, with a stock midsection, it's just barely louder than the BMW performance exhaust, which is already really mild. I'd say quieter than the Akrapovic Slip on closed and similar or a touch louder with it open, although not as bassy at all.

I would hope it is as loud as Mact333's with the valves closed or atleast hearable from inside the cabin. With valves open I don't care TOO much because I could close it.

Would is do think?

The Axleback was quieter than stock closed... You hear NO exhaust noise almost... WIth it open, it was just minorly louder, which pushed me to get the full system... Now I went from wanting a quiet mild exhaust to having an ear splitting one... Going to try and get some HF cats today...

didn't realize that the full system is catless. would you say the full system with valve closed is similar to the BMW performance exhaust?

just wish it wasn't so expensive... but you do get the best of both worlds.

I think it's louder than the BMW Perf exhaust closed, but just barely. Very different tone. I'm not a huge fan of the way the Innotech sounds when it's closed, it's not bassy at all and all you hear is the rasp.

Seriously loud. Sounds a lot more raspy/coarse than the first video I heard. Thanks for posting.

For the full system, it's about that. Axle back is cheaper. I'm highly impressed with the system because of the valvetronic ability and that it actually makes it quiet.
