6MT V.S. DCT
I have been wondering a few things about my 6MT compared to the DCT. I know that the gearing is much better on the DCT and was curious about the following though:
- Are any of the pulleys and tensioners the same? Or are they different? Just curious |

Here is what the single sided belt routing looked like . The only real difference is the power steering pulley is spinning the opposite direction and they reduced the amount of stress on the power steering and applied to the idler pulley. Last edited by SflBimmer8484; 08-18-2013 at 10:55 PM.. |
