Miami Supercar Experience track day summary. M3 Represented!!

Everyone was really impressed how the M3 did versus $150k+ Supercars, as was I .No one gave my little blue 4 door a 2nd look parked next to the Ferrari 458, 4 Gallardos , a race prepped e46 m3 CSL, MB CLK Black series and an SLS, a 911 turbo, a 1100 HP Ford GT fully race prepped, and Camaro SS. No one gave it any attention untill we began. Got lot's of attention after passing(with a wave by) the 458 Italia and then walked away by a full straight in 7 laps. I'm much more experienced than him(first time tracking the M though) and he got nervous when I was 4 inches from his bumper at 125MPH. Understandable not wanting a BMW Roundel stamped to the bumper of his $300K car. I have to say, the M3 was represented well today!!
That was a BLAST!!!

No track day pics yet. I have a bunch of pics from the event but, that post was moved to pics/videos and couldn't figure how to bump it up to the top with updates. I'll post them again hoping not to get in trouble for reposting by the post police. Sick Cars, the M1 was Beautiful!!! But the 458 Italia might be the best looking car I've seen in years!! Pics still don't do it justice, and the sound!!!!!

It was really funny, the guy who owned the 458 came up to me and said" You're Crazy" after the session. I kept over-tracking out the car to make sure he saw me in his mirrors,I was getting frusterated!! The 458 was starting to pull on me in the middle of each of the 4 straights but, my exit speeds were much faster and he was on the brakes 50ft before I wanted on them. BTW, his Girlfriend( 20 years his minor and dresssed in Ferrari garb from head to toe) was asking me how I was so much faster than her boyfriends Ferrari in a 4 door BMW. It was Classic!!One of the coolest things was that Matt Plumb( races the Rum Bum M3 in the Continental Series) was the guy to take me out on the recon lap. He gave me props after my runs also, very cool!!!

That's awesome. Did you tell her she'd look even better in BMW garb, and that not only was your car "faster," but it also has room for her and 3 of her girlfriends.

The guy was nice and let me sit in his car. Didn't want to steal his girl along with his pride! He got destroyed by a 4 door car that weights 700 lbs more than his car and costs $240k less! Wow, the Fit and Finish of the thing is AMAZING!!!! The dash of the 458 is a Work of Art!!!
