Can't have it all. The rear has grown on me. It's kind of like Kim Kardashian's ass. It looks really weird initially, but then you figure, hell I would probably enjoy hitting this.

That being said, I am very impressed by the new 'vette. I was thinking I would get the new M3 in addition to the C63 if I get a new place in a few years and cannot find a nice Z4MC, but now I am faltering...

Agree completely. The build quality is a level above BMW, Audi, Mercedes. The final product is just somehow greater than the sum of the parts....and the parts don't suck to begin with. Objectively, they are great cars. Subjectively, they are beyond great cars. And....there is really nothing else in their market segment. The sit in between merely "high end" and exotic. That said, a new Porsche is not a great value. The cost adds up for all those esoteric options, and you don't get money back on resale, but the quality and performance of the line is undeniable.

I'd venture to say that the auto is more popular among even younger and middle aged men.

Was checking out the c7 during the indy qualifications on tv. Not sure I'm sold on in it yet. The performance of the regular C7 is more than enough for me, but styling wise, I don't think I'd be happy with anything less than a Z06.

I liken it a regular e92 coupe that looked great when it first came out, but now looks plain compared to a M3.

Happy to see the american work horse back again even better than before packing a ton of performance for a reasonable price. can't wait to see all the more juicy versions to come out later if the base is this nice.

As would most M3's... DCT would outsell 6MT cars. This is consistent with most cars and the reason why MT is a dying option.

I got some major bonding issue with corvettes. And I know it's not the car. Too bad for me because I really like the car.

So when can I see one at a dealership? I feel like we've known about this car for so long yet deliveries/builds have so far not been given a release date.

I am planning on ordering one; the price to performance bargain is just way too awesome. Furthermore, I am keeping my M3

This is a problem/phenomenon of the internet age. We hear and see spy pics, etc. about cars years before they actually hit the market. It kills some of the fun IMO. In my youth, the first time you ever heard about a car is when Car and Driver, Road & Track, or Motor Trend tested it and wrote about it in their magazine. This was usually about 6-9 months before the car actually went on sale. It was early enough to get the juices going, but not so early as to get you frustrated with the wait.

Tell me all the details about the M4, for instance, when it is 6 months out and there is real info on the real car. It is just too soon to know about a car that I won't be able to actually buy for another 2 years.

Totally agree with this. I don't need or want to hear about the "what ifs". Let's just see the finished product and then decide if we want one or not
