Crease lines in E93 lighter colors (Alpine White)

I will be putting my order for an E93 Euro delivery M3 sometime early next year. I'm kind of torn on the color though. For the longest time I wanted Interlagos Blue, but lately I'm in really loving Alpine white (had an e30 in AW).

The only thing that's holding me back is that on the E93 the crease lines show up more on the lighter colored cars. Has this been a problem for people? Is there a solution, maybe a vinyl wrap to cover the black parts of the gaps?

Suggestions?

What exactly are crease lines? Are you referring to the gaps between the body panels?

yes, what are crease lines? When the top is down, the lines on the E93 are second to none.....

I am talking about the gap lines when the top is up.

Where the folds in the top are. One across the middle and one in the pillar.

I see what you mean, but AW does look great though. If I was going to go blue, I would go LeMans or some other blue since IB always seems a little too purple in my opinion.

It's pretty much impossible to cover them up unless you can control light because the lines are from shadows. Pretty much the only way around it is getting a dark color car so the shadows blend in.

I think he's talking about the seams and seals between the three panels that make up the folding roof...which aren't caused by shadows.

I thought about this before buying my car too, and I think it is probably part of what pushed me to prefer dark colors in the E93, so I bought jet black. But I'm OCD about silly stuff like that. So instead of seeing the seams, I have the trade-off of owning a car that shows every speck of dust. Go figure.

I've seen some white verts around, and they look pretty great. If I had to do it over again, I would have done mineral white.

Exactly, so I am still undecided, the AW looks so hot with the top down.

Go dark, I hate the crease lines and that chrome trim on the E93 as well.

I know what you mean...and you are right! That's why I was looking only for dark colors...SG it's stunning IMHO! But I love white on coupes!!!

If you are 100% sure you want an M3 convertible, go with one of the darker colors to hide the mechanics of the vert.

I have MR, and I don't find the "creases" to be particularly distracting from a distance. I feel like they are a little more noticeable on white, of which I have seen a couple in person.

With that said, no matter which color we are talking about, E93 looks the best with the top down!

Ditto - I think the creases are awesome and give it a techno look but others ... Want their cars to be all blue or black including the wheels.

I was originally thinking one of the blues, even custom ordering monte Carlo, but my wife convinced me to go with JB; I'm really glad she did, pictures don't do it justice and I think it looks great on the vert.

Silver stone looks awesome too but, and no offense, IMO a lighter vert can look a bit metro with the top down. That said I saw a ss vert with black comp wheels and edition kids and gills and it was baaad ass.

If I did it again it would be ss.
