That sucks. I have heard of people getting similar treatment at the Canadian board if they ever were convicted of a DUI.

wait, that's crazy! Your'e saying that chip is actively being tracked? How do they do that?

And why are they subject to an arrest, is it that the Canadian authorities can arrest you for entering without a pardon, I guess that makes sense?

just curious too, what were the felony convictions for? IMO, felonies are pretty serious stuff...so the Canadian policy (and parallel US policy towards Canadians) seems fair.

I believe all new passports have RFID chips embedded in them now.. I'm sure Canadian border patrol placed info in there that tags them as not allowed in country now. Any RFID reader can see this and identify them immediately. Sort of like how the EZPASS toll collection system works..

Whatever their convictions were for it's none of my business.. but I can add that they are old guys now with families and it happened a long time ago...

Wow that was incredible. I've been planning a trip for September, but this totally destroys it! Some incredible cars you guys brought along, and great photography as always.

Was the Boxter Cobalt Blue? That is a beautiful color.

Great photos and writeup.

Your car looks great--are those TE37SLs?

Also, is the Boxster lowered? Sure looks that way in that rolling shot.

They are TE37 TTA's (Tokyo Time Attacks) with the special e92 m3 offsets

The Boxster was 100% stock

The color was quite stunning in person. It's a brand new 2013 Boxster S roadster, just broken in also.. I believe the color was Aqua Blue.
