Turner Motor Sports Screwed Up....But Fixed It.. Thanks!

I waited a week and a half for my 20mm spacers so I could get my wheels on my car for an event tomorrow. Box arrives today so I'm all excited.

There are 10mm spacers in the 20mm box. So frustrating. Does not inspire confidence in this company. And their phone is on eternal busy.

It's a giant pain in the ass to have to go out of my way to ship these back to them and I needed them tomorrow.

Grrrrrr

i've been buying stuff from them for more than 10 years and always had great service and responsiveness. i completely understand your frustration and that it can't be helped to not have the spacers for the event...but why dont you give them a chance to make it right and see what they do?

I've had excellent customer service from Turner in the past. I had issues with an exhaust for my old e46 M3 purchased from Turner and they were all over it. Maybe it's sales person specific?

I'm hoping they will darth. Giving them the benefit of the doubt. But they don't even have an answering machine and their phone is always busy...

TMS is one of the best tuner shops I have dealt with. There is a reason why their phones are always busy..they're good. Mistakes happen, give them a chance to fix it

I have had nothing but great experiences with TMS and I have used them for various things for over a decade.

Benefit of the doubt? By immediately posting a thread called "Turner Motor Sports Sucks"?

Its annoying that you received the wrong part. I would be upset too if I was in your situation. But a least give them a chance to correct it (which they probably will).

I've been purchasing stuff from TMS for over a decade and I've had one issue which was resolved quickly and to my satisfaction. Yes, it sucks that you didn't get the correct spacers but please give them a chance to resolve the issue before you create a thread stating they suck

Are you sure it is a mistake? Maybe 20mm on the box means 20mm per axle which means 10mm per side...
If I'm wrong, I didn't say anything

Update: Finally was able to get ahold of them today. Not sure why their phone was alway busy every time I called. Maybe they were closed or out of the office? Don't know. An answering machine message would be nice.

Anyway, I spoke to Doug at TMS and he is in fact taking care of me and is going to get me the right ones overnighted. He was very corteous and helpful. SO TMS.....you are back on my good side. It is a nice change to see good custoemr service when mistakes happen. Usually, if this were to happen, I would get told "will take another week +" and we have to charge you for another set until ours come back.

Not the case here. Thanks TM & Doug for putting up with an irrated custumer and for making it right!

The problem with all these responses is that the customer wanted his product by a certain date. This cannot happen regardless of whether Turner ends up getting him the correct parts. You cannot rectify time.

Any vender (or person) can and will make mistakes. Assuming the mistakes are not too frequent... It's all about how the mistakes are handled that determines the quality of the vender IMO.

I agree. And I feel that although I needed them today, they are doing what they can to make it right. Same day arrival isn't an option so they are doing the next best thing.
