SCCA PDX ok for novice wife?

I'm trying to get my wife to do a track event this year and she is not opposed at all to the idea. Since she drives the M regularly, I figured she should know what it can do and what it can't.

In this context, is an SCCA PDX (performance driving school) a good place to start? I've never been to one of their events and know absolutely nothing about how well run (and safe) they are.

Any input is appreciated...

I've never been, but everyone I have ever talked to about SCCA says that SCCA is a great race group and a crappy DE group. Take that as you will.

Got it, thanks.

I need this to be a safe event, otherwise she'll be scarred for life. The car I mean . I could go to Shenandoah with Trackdaze, but that is just not a good track for a novice IMO.
