Almost makes me want to shell out the money to have mine painted the same. However, my color scheme (SG/Fox) is paired perfectly with my best mod (Mirrored Ohio State license plate holder) to rule out any further, or even necessary, changes.

That color is fantastic though, I've got one of the driving shots as my wallpaper and it may stay that way for a long time.

Too bad BMW AG would not do Inka - love that colour, the 2002tii in the BMW Museum is painted orange (looks too light to be Inka) - but DY turned out great.

I believe the colour of the 2002 is Papaya.

The car looks great, Scott! Thanks for the kind words!

Thanks everyone for the nice comments, I am really enjoying the car -- I just can't stop washing it!

very sick car, you've got great taste.. who woulda thought 18s would look that FKING SICK on the e92 M3

I love everything you've done with it, I wish my car could be an exact copy in AW
That is a very nice compliment. Many of the other cars on this forum inspired my car so is great if I can do the same. I know what you mean about the 18s...to be honest when Ilia and I made the decision to go with the 18" Fall-Line wheels I wasn't sure it would look great, but I figured that it would at least be a good performance option. I too am surprised how good they look. I think these wheels are one of my favorite mods because the are so functional, look good and are pretty unique for a street car. I have received a few PMs with questions about the wheels so I think they may be showing up on a few other cars.

What does your interior look like? Stock? DCT?

What a perfect execution.

One last question. What kind of clear bra do you have?
The interior is stock. I have carbon leather trim with extended black leather. I have considered a few interior options and may still do something but I am trying to keep the interior pretty basic because I have some hesitation that if I mod too much more, I might lose the clean, purposeful look.

The clear bra was done by National Paint Protection and Ghost Graphics. Peter Moeckli did the installation and he did a great job. Everything in front of the doors is fully covered. Everything was done with 3M except the hood which is Ventureshield because 3M doesn't sell a width wide enough to wrap the whole hood with one piece. I think 3M is working add a wider product to their line soon.

Thanks again for all the nice comments. I am still somewhat surprised that the reaction is so positive. I love the car, but somehow I thought I might be the only one.

Scott,

Looks great - I look forward to meeting you sometime and seeing it in person! BTW, I bought my first new BMW from Rasmussen in 1973 (don't do the math!). It was an Inka 2002. I have found Rasmussen to be an excellent dealer over the years; I bought my latest from Scott Bradley, as well, and Pete is my regular service guy.
