Alcantara MDCT and ebrake boot?
Anyone found a good supplier other than LeatherZ.com? They charge $450 for the set which is about double what I was expecting to pay.

Actually, it's more like $130. The extra charge is for the rings which come from BMW. You will get this with any vendor that makes the boots with the rings since BMW charges so much for them. Just forego this and re-use the rings from the original leather boots on the alcantara boots.
But, LeatherZ is currently not making the boots. The guy who does this is in the process of moving across the country. I'm pretty sure they'll start up again, but when is anybodies guess. As to other vendors, just google "alcantara shift boot". There are a few but I don't have any experience with them to recommend one. Cheers.

LeatherZ are good people. Just extremely overpriced IMHO.

Yeah, agreed. I purchased the BMW performance E90 version with silver stitching. I'll have to figure out how to trim the manual shift boot down to fit the MDCT shifter and reattach, but it will be a nice challenge. I'm hoping the ebrake boot will slip over the oem handle so I can make that work as well. Total for both bits from BMW was $150 (1/3rd the vendor price), so we'll see how it works.
