wheel ///M badge fall off?
I noticed the ///M badge fell off one of my wheels as I was washing it today. Is this common? I only use Sonax on the rims and hand wash.

Mine never fell off, but it's just a sticker (had to put on another set after powder coating my rims), so it is possible for them to fall off.
They're cheap... Just get some more from the dealership. |

I honestly think I'm gonna follow Rolf and leave M3Post. Shit happens, the wheel badge fell off. Is it common? Maybe. Could happen to one guy a hundred times and zero to another. I never hand wash my car with sonax and all these products, I haven't lost a center cap yet. Go get some more. Not an issue.

BTW OP I'm very back and forth on Sonax. I use it from time to time, but it seems a little rough on the finish.

I'm thinking nothing should fall off a relatively new car in regular use. It happens and obviously not a big deal in this case but if it had happened to me I would have wondered if it was common myself just as a curiosity. Thats all he did, ask if it was common. There was no rant, no freak out. I'm not understanding the grief here.

and people wonder why I'm so negative all the time. If the mods want to ban anyone, they should ban retards that think this is a legitimate subject.

I know I'm doing the same thing (though trying to prove a point) but why the hell do people keep responding the same damn thing (plus some other useless stuff) if the question was pretty much answered in the second post.

Actually no one answered his question which was "Is it common?". They just said they're cheap, go get some more. I still see no reason why this thread would cause ire or compel someone to call people retards compared to many of the other threads here which ask questions which I found answers to just reading the forums trying to learn about these cars as a new owner. As I said before if I was washing my relatively new car and anything falls off without any particular event precipitating it I would certainly be curious to find out whether it was a common problem myself regardless of cost. I did not find a thread on this in a search which would leave you with asking the question. Thats what forums are good for and this section subtitled "Come discuss everything" would seem the place to do it.
