Many times my phone will say that I have perfect reception (3G - 5 bars), but the Safari won't load any websites or it takes a ridiculously long time. What's up with that?

Does this happen to you guys, too?

hey guys i live in ventura im at the navy seabee base in oxnard. i just purchased my first bmw a e92 335i black on black. and golffrr the car i bought was purchased from steve thomas lol. i still have to transfer the warrnaty over to my name. and then extend my warranty. lol if you guys have a meet around ventura i would love to come.

Are you being throttled?

Try to close safari (close it from your multi task window), airplane mode on then off, then relaunch

if that doesn't work, close all apps and reboot

you amg 135i i was wondering if i get after market parts like intercooler intake bolt ons stuff like that will it void my warranty? and i was thinking about the ecu chip

Not that I know of. AT&T never sent me a text saying that I was going to be throttled.

I've closed Safari many times as well as reset my network settings, rebooted, etc... I almost feel as if there is some foul play going on with AT&T (i.e., they make it appear that the reception is much better than it actually is).

if you want to tune, you can ask adam (amg135), I'm the guy to go to

I modified my 335i quite a lot when I had it, and spent a LOT of time getting to know a thing or two.
I modded my Z4s as well, but not as much as I did with the 335i

It doesnt necessarily void your warranty. There are a lot of threads about this lol lemme see if I can summarize it for you.

-If you have tune, intercooler, exhaust, any bolt on etc. a dealership is not going to do WARRANTY work for you, especially if the part in question could somehow be related to any aftermarket piece.
-If you have a "cool" dealership or if you are "in" with your service advisors you can still get service done, for the most part. You have to set tune to OEM settings or take it out just to be safe and possibly take off certain bolt-ons. Typically exhaust, intakes, intercooler are okay. Others who are more modded have more experience with that but thats just what ive picked up
