What in the world just happened to my head unit?
Hello all,
A very strange thing just happened: I go put gas in the car, shut it off, pump gas, turn the car back on to leave, and notice that my head unit is completely unresponsive! I cannot change stations, raise or lower the volume, change from entertainment to navi, nothing. The same goes when using the head unit's controls or the steering wheel's controls. I figured I'd wait to get to where I was headed to power cycle the car again so that it would hopefully correct itself...and nothing. I'm hoping that now that I've parked the car and locked it, when I return to it in a couple of hours the problem will have corrected itself. Has anyone seen this before and know what's going on and/or how to correct it? My car is an 08 with the ccc unit. Thanks!! |

The only time I have had my (CiC) head unit lock up was when I was using my iPhone with a cpu intensive app running (forward facing video and data recording app) and connected to my car with bluetooth. I don't remember the exact sequence of events unfortunately.
