Random Oil level issue

Been having the issue basically since break-in service and after searching seeing its semi common on the S65.
My question is has anyone who experienced random and changing levels had luck either 1) having sensor replaced under warranty or 2) having improved reliability with additional mileage?

Long story short I'm just over 5k miles and recently had the +1 qt warning on a weekend trip, but didn't have TWS on hand so continued driving lightly. Engine cooled down, drove another 150 miles still at +1 qt then got home, ran out for a sec after partial cool down then got new reading of 7/8 full 'OK' . Been like that for the last 500 miles. Not a fan.

Any experience from those with similar issues would be appreciated. Thanks

What is the production date of your car? Did you notice any leaks? I'm wondering if there is more to this with the last of the M3's produced.

Production date 4/2013, no leaks.
