RS4 M3 prices, why?

Top Gear did an M3/C63/S4 comparo. People TALK about the RS4 being comparable to the M3 but I have yet to see it. I don't think the M3 will dominate it like the fanboys think. I'm not saying the M3 won't win, I honestly don't know, but it won't be the ass-kicking some seem to think. It's a damned capable car.

Youtube it... The ones I have seen (look for the 2008 ones) were Vs the RS4 since there was an RS4 available that year. And the M3 came in first in all the comparos with the RS4 or C63 in second and the ISF in last on all.

My buddy has the RS4 and we both bought ours the same year. He bought his first as his daily driver and he showed me the Youtube videos of his car vs the M3. Trust me I know... that was the year I was shopping around and those videos and my friend pushing me to get it helped me make my decision.

Who said the RS4 would dominate the M3?? I know I sure never did. I said the M3 wouldn't, and apparently I was wrong. Then again, almost no one on this site has the driving ability of the Stig and I firmly believe in the average enthusuast's hands, the difference would be minimal. For 95% of drivers, the AWD will help more than hinder.

Every Audi I've driven feels like it has a 2000lb weight sitting over the front axle. Haven't driven an R8 (yet) though.

M3 2:38.9
MB63 2:43.5
RS4 2:43.9

I'd take anyone of them...the RS4 just fits my needs better.
