Friendly race video Vf620 vs ess650

Hey Guys. A good friend of mine just had his car done at Ing. Ess 650 kit.
He had nothing but great things to say about the whole experience at Ing from the initial phone call for the drive home. I just got my Vf 540 kit upgraded to 620.
Camera car. Mods: vf620, akra Evo. Te37. Racing brake bbk. There is substantial weight savings with akra light forged wheels and racing brake bbk.

Second car mods: ess650. Oem xpipe. Stock wheels and stock brakes. Eisenmann Race exhaust

The video : sorry about te poor quality iPhone video. Here is a quick rundown.
1st race driver said he did not hear the horn so I had a jump start. We started in 3rd gear about 100 km per hour
2nd race both started in 3rd
3rd race. Started in second about 60 km per hour.

Now please consider how the stock xpipe reflects on this race. My friend is changing the xpipe soon so we will have more videos so stay tuned.

Wow, even with the extra mods on your car, didn't expect to pull that hard. You have any dyno sheets on them?

x-pipe must really release some good power when paired with a supercharger.

Thought it was going to be much closer given the SC specs, but it looks like the Evo more than made up for the 30hp difference! Now, if I can just shake this vertigo from watching your vid...

There's a huge difference in a car that's properly setup and one that is not. Running stock cats and xpipe on a ESS 650 is a big no no...

it's a good run showing how crucial catless setup is with any 650 kit.

All manufacturers request catless setup for 650 kits. Too much air restriction

This is exactly why we had the run. To see before xpipe and post xpipe install.
The 650 kit is a serious kit. Dyno racing is totally different. Even after the catless setup I'm hoping to keep up with him. Time will tell.

Guys let me start by saying as you guys know, videos do not do these cars justice. The other day i met up with Chris for a coffee and asked him if he would take me for a ride, He happily obliged. To call this car a beast or powerhouse is simply a understatement. The car will climb effortlessly to whatever speed you desire. I remember giggling like a child when i was inside. It was, to put simply the best ride of my life. Mad respect for Chris and his M!

Quick question. Does the akra Evo place primary cats in place of secondaries or are those secondaries and akra is consider catless. ?

I've seen Chris' car in action, its really fast. I saw him light up the tires from a slow roll at ~5mph with ease. Pretty awesome power.

Akra Evo place HFC cats in place of secondaries and a set of resonators. Or you can get the GT4 Xpipe which is completely catless !
