Apex 18 Satin Black with NT-01s

Some pics of the Apex 18/10 wrapped in NT-01s on my car. Great look for the track.

Will test these on the track shortly.

Are these an R compound tire?
What size are they?

Let me get this straight... You are swapping out parts designed by some of the top engineers in the world because some guys sponsored by a company told you it's "better??" But when you ask the same guy about tracking, "oh no, I have a kid now" or "I just detailed my car." or "i just got new tires."

Those look AWESOME!

Those R comps wear out fast so I take it you don't drive to the track with them and switch them when there?

What's the weight of those?

I'm frickin itching to get my TE37 SL's with NT05's ! The wait is driving me insane...

I believe the weight is ~ 19lbs per wheel.

The NT-01s actually wore very well and with a mid cycle tire flip, you can get several sessions. I'm running the tires now to put a few hundred miles on them before track day (although the NT-01s don't need it). I typically don't drive the R compounds to the track just in case it rains, otherwise the wear isn't bad on the NT-01s, other R compounds are a different story.
