Radio Volume resets to baseline - Expected behavior?
Couldn't find this in the manual...
It seems that after I shut the engine off and then restart the car, the radio volume isn't at the same (higher) volume that I had set it at prior to shutting off the engine. Is this normal behavior? Is there a way to set it to stay at the same volume? |

Good question! I understand the logic behind it, don't want to have the volume up high when you restart the car which could blow a speaker...

I don't have the volume set high enough to blow a speaker. I do have it set at a comfortable volume though. The factory preset is definitely too soft. My mercedes leaves the volume at the previous level.

Agreed, the reset level is too low! We should check with one of the coding experts to see if that can be changed...

+1. Sometimes I think I turned it off to listen to my exhaust.
