Lightbulb Houston ///M Club......the next "Big Event"

Greetings everyone,
As we are currently working on our first sponsored track day, I've been asked to find out if we would like to attack the Texas Mile as a group on the weekend of Oct 21st. The registration closes very quick so that's why I'm running this post now. Click on the link and let me know..............Phil

I'll be running in this event. I had a lot of fun during the march season and now I'm shooting for a much higher speed.

Count me in

Jeremy and I have been talking about this event for some time and we have a friendly rivalry going on to see who can run the fastest speed at the event.

With my new, functional lip creating downward force the event is there for me to loose

So remove it!! Either way it's still fun to run. Some people only hit 120 or so because this is a standing mile - not a endless straight! With a basically stock m3 you probably aren't going to exceed the limiter within a mile anyway so it's really just for the fun of running up to 155 legally plus you get to watch the really fast stuff.

It's pretty crazy to watch some of these guys hit 250's (in one mile) in mostly streetable cars.

Come join the fun!

No tune for me as I value my factory warranty. But if I were to get a tune, then I'd go with Dinan since they'll take of any software warranty issues.

Damn, registration is already full and now there is a waiting list. This event filled up quick and I forgot about the registration dates. Are you on the waiting list or did you get registered in time?...............Phil

I'm also registered for the event. Get on the waiting list and you'll still get a couple of runs in - That's what I did in March. You may have to wait all day though so it's your call.
