Some Shots of my SSII E92 with my new Canon 6D

I've been wanting a new camera for a while, so when Canon announced their new full-frame 6D I figured I couldn't go wrong. So far I'm more than impressed with it. I debated going up to the 5DMIII, but felt the extra money could be spent on a photography class to help me get the most out of the 6D
I've been holding off on suspension because I keep going back and forth on trading in for a newer M3. The problem is I'm not getting to drive it as much anymore, although it makes each driving experience that much better. Let me know what you guys think

There's no point of trading your car in for a newer version of the same car.

Why not just mod the one you have?

1 - I already have modded my 2008 and I'm tempted to upgrade to the later Nav ($3000+), LCI Tail Lights / Trunk ($1200+), and an extended warranty ($2500+) - All of which will be included on the new car.

2 - I have never had a car as long as my current M3 (4 years) and I can't believe that I'm buying another one either. A family member wanted to buy my car which made it too easy to sell. On top of that Steve Thomas BMW is nearby and their pricing is great without spending a bunch of time in negotiations.

3 - I looked at my options and I simply think the M3 is the best bang for the buck. As for other options.... Don't want an Audi or Benz, Love the GTR & 911 turbo's but those are out of my price range (only interested in 997) plus I just bought my wife a Porsche Cayman. I also like the idea of having the last of this breed (if I end up keeping it). The 2014 M4 might be something I want but I can always get that later. I don't like paying top dollar for anything so I don't see myself being one of the first to jump on the M4.... That puts me into 2015+ for that car anyway.

4 - My car's warranty is ending this month.

5 - I can transfer most of my modifications, I know all of the in's and out's of the car, it's a proven and reliable car, and the new car will be as "different" as I can make it (coupe vs. sedan, dct vs manual, black vs red interior, etc.).

Enough reasons for you?

I have modded this one slightly and its not like I'm scared to... I had a 335 that was heavily modded. Given that I plan to keep an E9x M3 for a while, I'd like to have one with the factory warranty (mine just expired in August), and have the newer CIC iDrive (mine is the older CCC version), which I think could potentially be a larger problem in the future with [private] resale than most of us '08 owners might think), and given the cold temperatures in winter here, heated seats would be a nice option. I'm very happy with this car, so it honestly hasn't been a decision I'm necessarily worried about. I just remember having suspension on my last car made trading it a little bit more of an issue because of timing/scheduling.

I thought he was asking me this question See my post above if you would like some additional reasons to justify ordering a new one!

The Canon EF 24-105mm with Image Stabilizer. It came with the kit. I was debating getting the new Tamron 24-70 with vibration control, but changed my mind last minute. Honestly these were among the first 20 shots I've taken with the camera (all were on Auto), so I only say don't base any decision off of them

Great photos. Love SSII under different lighting.
I'm thinking of taking a photography class too. Been contemplating it for 2 years. I have a Canon 50D. I haven't used it to it's full potential yet.

Nice car! Black ZCP wheels are a nice touch as well. The newer tail lights would make the car look completely different

You definitely need to polish your exhaust tips though, they look dull
