I just bought this car. Having it shipped here. Dealer claimed $13K in stereo upgrades (seems absurd) and I was just curious if I could find the previous owner to ask questions.

Those alpine Type R's are like $150 each. Custom box can run anwhere from 200-1000. Amp 500. Install 500.

Yeah, I don't think they meant just the subs...that's what I want to know. Not really wanting to uninstall door speakers just to discover what kind they are. You know?

I have a system in my E46...so I'm not totally clueless.
