I was out and about too. Finally put on my summer wheels/tires. A bit early I know, but I couldn't wait.

Why do people put it away for the winter? I drive mine every day; wind, rain, snow, etc. I don't get the putting it away for the winter thing. Can someone explain?

It rained all day today so I stayed in and did projects around the house.

Because I would rather drive the SUV in the winter, unless the roads are clear of snow and salt then I would drive the ///M3. that's just me

Bill.
Glad to hear. Let me know the next time you take a ride, really want to take that Captree route, never done it.
Hopefully there will be a group run soon. May be the guys at Autocoture will set something up.

Sounds good will let you know, just as a heads up we usually meet at 6am and depart shortly after, this helps beat traffic on the way out there

I would like to know the same. I drive mine every single day unless their is snow because I have pilot sports all year round.

The OP has an SUV, which I would also drive during the winter if I had a choice given the state of the roads, potholes etc. Nothing wrong with driving an M3 in winter (barring snow unless w/snow tires), just makes sense if you have an SUV to go that route I think.

Next time there is a captree run give me a shout. I used to go out w/ my club before it ceased to be. Haven't had a chance to get out there since.

I hear what your saying, and I wasnt directing it only at the OP just making a general statement (I find a lot of people drive the M3 in optimal sunny conditions). Its so much more fun driving the M (as long as their is no snow), so why not drive it.
