VIR THSCC Event Sep 8-9

We had a great time at VIR this past week end. It was good to see some of our members at the track. I sure picked up a lot of rubber, bugs, and other things off the track during the event - don't know, but seemed to be more than usual. However, cleaned the M3 and ready to go again. I used some of the products which I highly recommend to clean off all this stuff.

Doc, I see Martin has got you drinking the coolaid!

Glad you guys had a good time. Can't wait to get back up there Oct. 28-29 with Chin, gonna watch the 13-hr endurance race on Sat the day before.

At the end of the day, Saturday Sep 8, as the last run group was on the track, we had a mean looking storm approach the track. Lucky, the strom passed South of the track and we only received a little wind and rain, but it sure had everyone racing to tie down all which was not secured. My E92, and my son's E30.

Just got around to posting this on YouTube. My student joined me during a backed down track tour in the instructor session to review the line she has been trying to conquer, and the vid was for her to take home and watch. While we were on the track, her husband passed in his Vet, and she yelled at the top of the esses, catch him! Now, the vet had quite a jump on us, but none the less, the chase was on, albeit one sided. I backed off due to the noise from his exhaust - we could not talk even with the communicator. But it was fun, and she got to see a little bit of the track at speed.
