I'm going to to be installing my KW sleeve kit tonight and I know BMW recommends replacing all bolts BUT (1) is this necessary? (2) anyone have a list of the sizes of the bolts?

What are the width and offset of your rear wheels, and what size tires?

Any rubbing?

Anybody that did the install themselves, how hard was it? Installing regular Eibach springs was pretty easy... how hard are these compared to regular springs?

I saw that there is something that needs to be pressed in.

Does everyone set ride height based on collar threads?

I noticed that if the collars are even in front, one side is higher by about 1/2 inch over the other side. I had to drop the perch on one side so the ride height in front is even.

I've never seen this with any coilover install. Sometimes it is a little off when setting by collar height but 1/2 inch difference between left and right is quite a bit.

Is this normal for the Sleeve-over?

Assuming your off in the front. If that is the case then the perch got hammered into one strut more than the other. Its a friction fit and it can take a lot of pounding to get it fully seated. It's not the end of the world if they are off, just adjust it in the collar to level it out.

Yes, it is in front. I guess that makes sense. With my past experience with full coil-over suspension, it's all together so there is no variation in placement of the collar on the shock. I just thought a 1/2 inch difference was a big variation.

Where does BMW recommend this and why? Are the bolts the same for e92 as it is for the e90?

I'm seriously considering going with Sleeves now as I want it to sit a little lower but want to buy these bolts if it is necessary.

Is the preferred setup like the e46 with 13.5 in front and 13 in rear measuring from center of wheel to fender?

Can anyone who has installed the KW sleeves expand on what bolts need to be changed and why? Thank you.

Sucks this is a 2 year old thread, was curious to hear OP's thoughts on the KW's after a few years. Most of what I've read on here hasn't been positive in terms of the Sleeve over kit with several members ditching the kit after a few short months. Love that the kit offers adjustability compared to springs, but I guess they just never got it right with this kit. Not surprised though, had a terrible experience with my V3's on my previous S4.
