Replacement Shift Boot/Gear Knob

Hi Guys,

I need to either find a Genuine OEM illuminated Gear Knob with leather gaiter attached to it (like the stockie) or a new shift boot that will clip into the console and a different illuminated gear knob, anybody have some suggestions?

Thanks

You can probably source it from the US, it should be the same for LHD and RHD.

there's a few websites, the first one that comes to mind is ecstuning.com, then there's pelican parts, turner motorsport...try them!

is it? I've never driven a manual LHD car before but I presume that the gear pattern is the same...ergo the knob and boot should be the same no?

Really keen on ZHP knob. I am no good at DIY though. Wish someone in Adelaide could do it for me.

It should be a piece of cake. The old one should pull off and I'm guessing there's wire harness to unclip for the illumination. You'll just need to get a RHD one, as the centre console and boots are reverse shapes in LHD.

It'd be easier to just order one from Andrew @ SBM and know you're getting the right one and some install tips over the phone
