We need these out of here to make some space, that's the reason behind the pricing... These airboxes were made into molds off the OEM box, then carbon fibre is laid on it and then clear coated and UV protected. The whole airbox cover is not made of CF, that would lead to unbelievable prices for something that's just aesthetic.

in the photo, the cover looks like the CF used is cosmetically defective. it has lines in the pattern that are inconsistent. is this why they are closeout price?

Nothing is cosmetically defective on any of these. What you might be seeing is the reflection of light off the clear coat.

With that being said, the only reason why they're not returnable, is because it's a closeout item, these are not damaged.
