M3 Euro Delivery in June!

Gentlemen,
I'm finally about to join the M3 club. The wife and I are flying over to Munich to take Euro Delivery June 10! The car is configured as follows:
E92 M3 Coupe
Jerez Black
Black Novillo Extended
M-DCT
Competition Package
Premium Package
Cold Weather Package
Enhanced Sound
Auto Dim Headlights
Piano Black Trim

It took a lot of planning to make this happen. My wife has been most understanding. We had to overcome some obstacles. First off, we have a one car garage. I have an old Corvette,



which created a storage issue. The solution? A four post drive-on lift.



Of course, I have to think my buddy John for lending his gorgeous AW M3 for the test fit -



I'd also like to thank BlankStar43 for letting me check out his Jerez M3 up close and selling me on the color.

David Aviles gets kudos for getting me an allocation and a great deal.
We fly June 8, land June 9 (Sunday). Schedule is as follows:
June 9 Munich/BMW Welt Museum
June 10 Take Delivery, drive to Lake Constance
June 11 Lake Constance to Stuttgart
June 12 Stuttgart to Trier
June 13 Trier to Brugge
June 14 Brugge
June 15 Gent
June 16 Cologne
June 17 Nurburgring and Frankfurt
June 18 Drop off and fly home.

I'm hoping to get 1200 miles on the car before Nurburgring, but it should be fun either way.

I'm not sure what is worse - waiting for my car to go into production, waiting to get it, or waiting to get it back to PCD!

Euro delivery is all about waiting. Whatever you do, don't think about it. Go about your daily life, the time moves quicker that way.The most anxious you will get is the night before delivery in Munich and when your waiting for redelivery.

Imagine what I'm going through, I have to wait until July to pick up my car at the Welt.

you have to thank David Aviles a whole hella a lot...because i thought they stopped piano black trim over a month ago....when did you put your order in?

i feel for you wait, though....while i did not get Euro delivery, i'm waiting on my M3 to get here . which is about the end of july.....and i put my order in March!

I started talking to David in January... and asked for Piano Black within the last couple weeks. David knew the cost to the dollar, and got it pushed through in 48hrs.

ED was a life altering experience for me. I'm sure you and your wife will have an awesome time!

Wow lucky you! I asked my dealer two weeks ago for ED but he said it's not available. You must have been the last to get it. I would love to go back to Germany and see BMW, one of the things I missed out on last year when I visited.

I started talking with David way back in January, and still had to wait until March to get an allocation. I almost missed out.
