Everything I've read indicates mid-summer EOP for E90 M3, so your dealer is probably telling the truth.

No. When E90 M3s stop ~ August 2011, that will be it for the E90 M3.

Just got additional info on the topic from the head of vehicle distribution BMW NA. All BMW m3, which include e90 e92 e93 will be discontinued between the months of may through July. The reason the M3 did not get the upgraded angle eyes was because the amount of m3 sold during a month and how many months are left for production, It would cost more to redesign the m3 headlights then too just leave them the same since such a short life is left on the production of vehicle. Hope this helps gentlemen

So I guess that my September E92 M3 ED is a fantasy and both the dealer and Individual have been lying to me for the last 6 weeks...

It's reassuring that my CA may have been right, and I'm glad I got my order in when I did!

I think you may have misunderstood the statement. No M3s built between May and July, but at least E92/3 models continue in August, so you'd have no issue with your September build E92 M3. I suppose the question is whether E90 production will resume at all, or after shutdown, that's it.

The word used was discountinued, it should have been production stopped during those months.

By the way, MY2012 E92 M3 start in PW36.

I have a week18 production number for a E90 that is confirmed as 'accepted' by BMW AG
I guess they may try to bump me up if there is no production in May/June

I have an order for an E92 with the goal of arriving in August. Looks like I might have a problem if the above is true.

The above production end schedule being discussed is for E90s...not E92, so you are good to go

My E90 M3 is a week 24 build in June. It should arrive in July. I was hoping it would go into production sooner. I'll have one of the last Individual M3 Sedans built.

Regards,
David

Hey David,

Congrats! Spill the beans. I'm very curious what individual items you are getting, but I am pretty sure a lot of us are. The master of individual, finally getting an individual. All the combinations of individual M3s you have seen, it would sure make it though to choose. I remember awhile back you said you like the color techno violet. I haven't seen that on an e9x yet.

Regards,
Shawn
