Returning to stock Xpipe from TMS Test Pipes Possible?

As the subject says...

I'm contemplating purchasing the TMS test pipes and cutting my OEM X-pipe to make them fit.

However, if I later decide to return the car to stock, is it possible to re-weld the stock cats back on to the OEM X pipe without any issue?

If so, how much do you think an average shop would charge for the welding if I bring them the X pipe?

Thanks in advance...

I have seen it done, it all depends on how clean they were removed to begin with.

Dave
So if a hacksaw was used to remove the cats, then the cats welded back on (assuming a decent welding job), does the pipe look OEM or does it look like obviously altered?
