Uhh, he doesnt need an M3 to point out that the price is pure RAPE. Any moron with the least bit of common sense could tell you the same, M3 owner or not..... Nothing you can say would ever justify the price of the mirror covers.. And 400% profit is about right, so please stop trying to bullshit us and make us believe it really costs an arm and leg to make these covers. They are nice, but 400$? Come on... you can't be serious.

And its pretty obvious you are the dude trying to sell these.... next time try ebay

JMD a/k/a Shiba, the only thing about this thread that isn't a catastrophic fail is that you will succeed in getting banned twice in only two days. Nicely done, your five posts per ban ratio will set a new bar.

For the record 189.99 prob woulda cleened you out of these in a matter of days and you coulda re-ordered and sold out the next order ..and had the satisfaction that you made a buisness relationship with 100 people on this forum..and dont even claim they cost you more than 100 to produce cuz thats just a crock of you kno what.

Heres marketing 101 for those who have any education on buisness......

You mark up your product just enough so you make a decent profit ..and so you keep the product flowing. YOur objective is is to selll as many units as you can...not rape 4 people and be done. Dont get to greedy....The more volume you move, the more money in the long run you make. Not that difficult of a concept to understand.

Best reguards

You mean "JDM" a/k/a/ Shiba, not JMD cuz I'm JMD. Some might get it twisted.

This Weave WILL NOT MATCH THE CF ROOF WEAVE....also, is this is made out of a polyurathan base. it will warp in the sun, especially those clips. there is a resin BMW made body panels out of ABS plastic. Like the OEM side views....if they are an epoxy based (which i doubt do to every comp. making of selling them is going cheap...including vorstiener) it would withstand the sun rays

Come on guys? $450 is chump change. At $300 profit he only needs 216 of us to actually afford his own M3. Let's all pitch in and help :grouphug:

Wet carbon means that they lay down a CF weave over the shape of the object you want to be "wrapped" in CF. Then they need to go through a process to cure it and cover it in a layer of clear coat and stuff like that...thats where alot of poorly made wet carbon will develop bubbles and bumps, the manufacture cheaps out on clear coat.
Not to be a know it all, but....

"Dry" Carbon means that the part has been formed with a vacuum mold and all the resin has basically been sucked out of the part asides from what's making the carbon rigid. Typically, dry carbon parts are 100% carbon as well like was said above.

"Wet" carbon is a carbon part that has been laid up fiberglass style with resin that doesn't have all the excess resin sucked out... Cheaper "wet" carbon parts are also normally laid with a fiberglass base layer as well to save cost, but you could theoretically get a 100% carbon part that's done wet style, it would just be a waste. A "Wrapped" carbon part is done wet.

Hence, "Dry" carbon is lighter / more expensive.
